Following Sara's Random Music Meme
The Steps for the Meme:
Step 1: Put your MP3 player or whatever on random.
Step 2: Post the first line from the first 25 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song.
Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from.
Your steps:
Step 3a: Post your guesses in the comments.
Step 4: I’ll strike through bold them when someone gets them right
Step 5: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING.
Here’s my 25…. Good Luck

Life/Lemons/Lemonade/Etc
It seems as if our brutally long, cold, snowy(!) winter is finally over.
I came the the decision last night that winters like the one we had only help to make us appreciate spring a lot more.
So far the things we’ve enjoyed: *Leaving the house with no mittens, hat, jacket, or shoes *Grilling delicious hamburgers and brats *Outdoor Farmers Market *Bicycling *Sleeping with the windows wide open *Driving with the sunroof open *Yardwork *Playing in the sandbox (well, the boy anyway) *Throwing the kitties outside
I’m now anxiously awaiting Mike’s first batch of Sun tea, a light suntan, the pool opening, gardening, margaritas made from locally grown fresh strawberries, and fresh asparagus grilled lightly.
Head Winds Suck
We bought a tag-along bike a while ago with the notion that I could bike A. to school in the morning and bike us both home at night. It’s a short distance – about 2.5 miles one way, and on a very pleasant bike trail.
This morning we bundled him up with a hat under his helmet, mittens, and a light winter coat to keep him warm. The ride was surprisingly easy and despite the fact that this is only my 2nd bike ride of the season, I wasn’t in any sort of pain in my legs or butt after the ride.
As I scoped out the weather for the next few days it said “WINDY” with 23mph winds from the SW. How bad can that be, I wondered to myself.
Well as “luck” would have it, I found out tonight on my ride home.
Why I Love My Kitties
Sometimes we’re annoyed by our kitties. Clio demands constant attention, wants to be wrapped around your neck, and has razor sharp claws. Also, she’s kinda dumb. Spike is a big sweet fluff-ball who sheds too much and has lethal cat farts. But they’re part of the family and occasionally very useful.
Last summer they killed 7 or 8 rodent-like critters living in our backyard. Once I got over the ick factor of dead things on my patio, I realized how useful that was. They also appeared to have scared away the bunnies that threatened the garden last year.
