Thanksgiving

I had initially started writing something Thanksgiving day. I wrote about all the things I am thankful for, about my 4th wedding anniversary, and about life in general last week.
Well, clearly that time has passed and it would seem irrelevant now. I’d probably end up sounding like a drunk actor waving their Oscar around at the Academy Awards, which would be not good.
Suffice it to say I’m thankful that Adam usually goes to be peacefully. (not tonight, however)

Wednesday is the “BIG EVENT” for the Science Organization I belong to. We’re hosting a public talk by Dr. Eugenie Scot of the National Center for Science Education. Somewhere along the way I took leave of my senses and volunteered a camera crew from work to come in and record it. I believe after that I will end up editing it together and making a presentation out of it.
Its one of those things where I really don’t have a clue what I’m doing, but I hope in the end it all works out anyway.
We’ll see.
There may be photos to post after the event if I can secure my very excellent photographer to come along for funsies.
If I still have hair on Thursday and I’m alive, it will be a miracle.
