DID YOU VOTE?
November 7, 2006 - 10:11am
If you did, give yourself a pat on the back.
If not, GO VOTE NOW BEFORE YOUR POLLS CLOSE.
Our polling place had a line at 7:30am which hopefully is a good sign.
It’s going to be a rough day. I fully expect Diebold (may they burn in hell) shenanigans in Florida and Ohio.
What’s it like to have to always cheat to win? How do they live with themselves?
Is Democracy dead in our country?
#129
I was #129 to vote… 45 minutes after the polls opened. It’s going to be a high turnout, at least here.
#99
I voted! I was #99 this morning around 8:00. That’s all I have to add. Sorry it’s not more exciting…
#125
I finished my registration paperwork before Mike! Ha-ha!
Adam had to come with us for the voting process. He was very well behaved except for the part where he wanted to play the piano in the voting/conference/meeting room.
#200?
I didn’t remember my number, but it was in the 200’s when I voted about 8:15am.
At my polling place there was obviously an observer who was watching the voters and the poll workers. He was sitting in a chair and taking notes on a clipboard as people came through. I thought that was interesting.
Those Diebold machines are ridiculous! You have to wonder who thought those things were a good idea. I’m glad we’re using those paper/computer scanning ballots in Wisconsin.

I didn’t realize that Cuyahoga Co. went totally electronic. I thought they’d still be using punch cards at our polling location. Brian tells me otherwise. I’m glad we did our absentee ballots, but I still hope they didn’t get “lost”.
