I woke up at 4am, my throat on fire. Swallowing and breathing were painful.
I forced down a couple tylenol and went downstairs to try sleep upright.
I opted to skip work and try to regain some of the sleep I missed between 4am and 6am and woke up around 8:30 feeling horrible still.
I watched some TiVO hoping that I’d start to feel better. Instead, I started to feel cold and realized that I was running a fever. Yay! A FEVER!
A relatively short to trip the urgent care on the West side of Madison confirmed 3 things:
I have Strep throat
I have an ear infection in my left ear (something I had suspected since it was a bit tender and hurt everytime there was a pressure change.)
I have a sinus infection!

Hooray for Antibiotics! Hopefully in 10 days I will no longer be sick at all. I’m so sick of being sick. I just want to feel well and warm.
