I forgot my iPod

Sure, mock me and my technology dependence.
But if you had Billy Joel’s “Italian Restaurant” running through your head for the last hour, you’d be just as annoyed as me.
Because:
Brenda and Eddie were the popular steadies and the the king and the queen of the prom
la la la something about car-top down and radio on…
la la la random snippets of song
Bottle of red, bottle of white, it all depends upon your appetite. Meet you anytime you want at our Italian Restaurant
And then, it starts all over again in my head.
aaaaaaaaaaaaagggggggggggghh!
“…riding around with the
“…riding around with the car-top down and the radio on. Nobody looked any finer, or was more of a hit at the Parkway Diner, and we never knew you could want more than that out of life, woah-oh-oh-ooh…”
(Thanks a lot, by the way…)
And more...
“and a couple of paintings from Sears, bought with the bread that they’d saved for a couple of years.”
“…Brenda you know that you’re much too lazy”
“… and there we were waving Brenda and Eddie goodbye..”
technically, it should be spelled “Brend’r”
Has anyone seen Movin’ Out? I kinda wish I’d seen it when I had the chance…
Thanks a lot
Now I’LL be singing that in my head for the rest of the night…
“They couldn’t go back to the greasers,
The best they could do was pick up their pieces,
We always knew they would both find a way to get by,
AND that’s all I heard about Brenda and Eddie,
Can’t tell you more ‘cause I’ve told you already,
And here we are wavin’ Brenda and Eddie goodbye.”
Whoa Oh.. Whoa Oh..
