Ho-Hum......

I’m not depressed or otherwise seasonally affected, but this winter is really starting to drag on. I know it won’t be “spring” for 2 more months and I try to not get too excited about spring and the idea of spring gardening.
I looked through local CSA websites trying to pick the best business to buy from. I worry, though, that having a CSA will negate the need to go to the Farmers Market on Saturdays and Wednesdays.
I guess the one “good” thing about the extremely frigid weather is that it means that winter is moving on and soon it will be warm, right?
You have to weather a few -20 days before it can be warm, right? Right?
I just don’t want to go outside until it’s warm again.
If you don't go to the farmers' market...
You can’t buy candied walnuts, or fresh lemonade, or handmade salsa to eat with sliced apples, or scary pottery faces, or windchimes, or roasted turkey legs etc…
Unless you plan to plant all of these things in your garden, you still need a farmers’ market. I sure wish we had one around here in Leesburg.
