Google Maps Street view has come to Madison!
After inspecting the street view of our street we know the following things:
It’s late afternoon, it’s past mid-July (our new windows are in) and it’s before we got lots of rain (the grass is yellow and crunchy looking.)
We also know M was not home from work yet, but I was and I was just about leave.
The annoying thing is that I was clearly leaving my driveway and failed to notice a mid-size car with a camera mounted on the top driving down my street.
What were YOU doing when Google Maps drove by?

So this morning I was at work staffing the reference desk, and someone at a computer across from the desk told me to take a look at his screen. He seemed a bit annoyed that Google street view had a picture of his house online. He was even more annoyed the picture was from last summer, before they took the arbor down from his front walkway.
I said: “Oh yeah, I’d heard they now had street views of Madison.”
While the smart-ass answers started to fill my brain:
“And I care about this because?”
“I’ll get Google on the phone for you so they can update that.”
“Just be glad they didn’t catch you groping your mistress on the front lawn.”
