As it turns out, the evening portion of my birthday was very nice.
My inlaws took Mike, Adam and I out for a very nice birthday dinner at Edo – a Japanese hibachi steakhouse over on Monona drive. Very tasty. Mike’s sister ordered hibachi tofu, something I was skeptical of until I tasted it. I don’t know that I’d want an entire meal centered around tofu, but that was pretty good.
Adam, of course, loves the fire and the action and the noise. He even managed to feed himself Miso soup, noodles,rice and vegetables without significant mess. He did make a big mess with the red-bean ice cream which was quite tasty.

Today is, of course, mothers day. I have celebrated mothers day by having Mike change 2 poopy diapers and bring me tea and a bowl of cereal.

Now if we could collectively get over what ails us and have the sun shine, it would be really nice.

(and having our house sell too would be a real treat.)
