I coined a new word today. Or, at least, I think I did. Maybe I should Google it first.
Damnit.
Someone already thought of Pregzilla. It isn’t very original, so I’m not surprised, but I still thought it was pretty damn funny.
Musevia is (finally!) engaged and starting out her year+ long journey of wedding planning.
It’s exciting and mind-boggling all at once. I don’t mean that particular engagement, just weddings in general. Volumes have been written about planning for weddings and wise people have written books about planning for your marriage. Still, I’m glad that it’s something I’ll never have to do again.
As I said, when I coined my unoriginal word, I’d rather be pregnant again for 9 months than have to plan a wedding again. If you get a little wound up about flowers or chocolate with raspberry filling or yellow with chocolate ganache, people call you Bridezilla. If you want to tell a relative to jump off the nearest building, you’re being unreasonable and a bad relative. If you’re 3 months pregnant and you weep over a change in weather and a Hallmark commercial you’re just pregnant and thats (mostly) OK.
At least, if you’re doing it right and you’re not in a shot-gun wedding, you can drink the stress-induced eye-twitch away when you’re enagaged. No drinking when you’re pregnant, though. (JustOneLittleSipIWannaTasteTheMargaritaNotDrinkIt)
aaah, good times.
Still, I’d like to give Adam a little sibling. The infernal housing market and its slowness is causing problems in any grand master plans for such things. To even think seriously about such things during such tight financial times is pure insanity. I may be crazy, but I’m not that sort of crazy.
